Staff Sergeant Andrew Strachota served in Afghanistan Forward Operating Base Salerno searching for and elimination of terrorist forces threatening the United States and the world. "Operation Enduring Freedom" was for the men and women who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. "Land of the Free Because of the Brave".
Andy lived most of his life in Greendale attending and graduating from St. Alphonsus Grade School and Greendale High School where he excelled in sports.
Andy graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Andy is married with 2 children.
