Kenneth R. Shea was born & raised in Bay View, Wisconsin. Upon graduation from Bay View High School, Kenneth was drafted into the Army in August, 1944. While serving his country during WWII, Kenneth was stationed both in France & Germany. His military occupational assignments included that of an ammunition handler, truck driver and general clerk. his honorable discharge came 2 years later and Kenneth returned to Milwaukee to pursue electrical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In 1950, Kenneth married Dorris Shea. Together, they raised three children-moving to Greendale in the mid '60's. Kenneth worked as a maintenance electrician throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area, finally retiring at the age of 89 from Wausau Equipment Company. Along the way, Kenneth's many hobbies kept him busy. He built sets for the Suburban Players, was active ibn Okauchee Fishing Club, Great Lakes Fishing Club and Power Squadron. Pre-pandemic, Kenneth would be typically found at local taverns and restaurants sponsoring live music. He enjoys swing, jazz, and blues and is looking forward to returning to the dance floor when it is safe to do so.
