Coming from a small dairy farm in northern Wis. it was a reality shock meeting guys from all walks of life. Then being sent to Nam at 18 was a real eye opener.
We grew up fast. Throughout my service time had good experience and some bad ones, I just have to remember the goo one's and not let the other ones take over.
