George was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and later earned his GED. After his service from 1944 to 1946, he worked for the City of Milwaukee Water Works for 39 years. During that time he married and had three children. After retirement he moved with his wife to the Overlook Lakes Condominiums where he lived for 17 years. Member of American Legion Post #490. He always flew the flag proudly!
