Attended boot camp and ET school at Great Lakes. "C" school was at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. First duty station was overseas at USTDC (United States Taiwan Defense Command). I was stationed there for three years and one month. Duties include, but not limited to the repair of communications equipment, phone systems, and no break power distribution system. Where I was awarded the Department of Defense "Joint Service Commendation Medal". Next duty station was Naval Air Station LeMoore, CA. Duties there included the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various radar equipment and guidance equipment. Honorably discharged on Feb. 13, 1976. Flew on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight on June 1, 2019. A truly great experience!
