I served a tour of duty in Vietnam - 1963 - 1964. I was a Crew Chief on a fixed wing 6 passenger aircraft. I was a member of UTT / 571st Transportation Company. They were known as the World's First fully armed Huey helicopter Gun Ship. I had over 300 flying hours over Vietnam and earned the Air Medal. After my discharge from the U.S. Army and several years later I became a Health Insurance Agent. It was a difficult occupation but I enjoyed my work. I have a son Timothy, daughter Patty, and four Grandchildren: Madeline, Benjamin, Heather and Allison. I am very grateful for my life experience.
