Robert (Bob) C. Dieck loved his country and was a military veteran. He served honorably in the United States Army Reserve from February 1966 to February 1972, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Bob's experience in the Army played a very important role in his life. He often pointed our that the Army taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and investing in a cause larger than himself. These values contributed to his success as an insurance salesman, helping people on their path to a secure financial future and a better life for their family. Bob's service in the Army Reserve inspired his daughter Rebecca to attend the UW Military Academy at West Point and serve as a commissioned officer for 28 years.
